I Apologize for the lack of posting over the last 7 days. Here I what you need to know.
after Tony’s Titty bar that was the Floating barge in the middle of the Harbour at Puerto Galera there was a busy weekend of the following!
Friday
As I have always Said, getting anything interesting to report from a day of travel Is hard as there is a lot of flapping around, on Friday we had to check out of the white hose down in Puerto Galera. The room that we should have been in from the start, I had a particularly bad sleep drifting in and out of consciousness with the Flu , which I think my last one was in about 2014, I remember it well as we had traded this crappy Chrysler PT Cruise off of a lady call Margot Robbie, once the car had been painted and prepped for the yard a few weeks after around July 2014 I had a very nice couple come in a test drive it. It was a Saturday in Dunedin and like mist Saturdays in winter it was Pouring with Rain, blowing a gale and I was lying on the floor of Jess Wiggin’s office who was our Business manager at the time.
I was lying on her floor in her office shivering and squashed up against the heater trying to survive the day that felt like it was going very slowly as every second dragged out as I sweated and tried to pretend I was okay….. in hindsight I don’t even know why I went to work.
however, our policy for test drives, before a world of covid where if you even get within 1 Meter of someone.. .they act like you’re the Anti Christ and splash you with holy water telling to to get back…. We had to do a manned test drive.
This meant that we had to go with the customer on their test drive to ensure they figured out how everything works and also we like to make sure our cars aren’t getting thrashed…… in my personal opinion on that particular day this nice couple from Waverly could have hijacked the car and left me in the gutter and totaled the car into the harbour of Dunedin ,and done the world a favour.
for those of you who don’t know a Chrysler PT Cruise was released in 2000. It was a very popular car due to its design, it offered great cabin space, styling and the American and Australasian market loved it….. here is the honest truth…..
its Hideous and has a seating position like a Kenworth Truck, its engine is lifeless and the turning circle is like a Bus….. to top it of…….. everyone who ever owned one complains about the cost of parts, high gas consumption…. But oddly enough they would all by a second one in a heart beat because its beautiful… now here is a photo of one…. Don’t Vomit too much on your smart devices or keyboards.

This lovely couple on this Saturday of sickness in July 2014 got the pleasure of not only test driving this hideous Demon of a car but also spending 40 minutes with a sweaty flu infested salesman.
the good news is they Loved this god awful car…… and decided to purchase it for a whopping $10990…… couldn’t retire on that commission…. But the husband also got a trip the ER 4 days later with Pneumonia…. Courtesy of their loving car salesman…..
meanwhile in Puerto Galera I was sleeping in until 11:40 AM . form there we will catch a Trike down to the Shipping terminal and catch our ride back over to Batangas and catch a bus back to San Pablo.
The trip back to San Pablo is so Marge can See her Parents that she hasn’t seen for a month and for us to have a few days break on the road, marge lives just out of the main city of San Pablo in an Area called Laguna. Laguna is a small area of the city on the outskirts.
her parents have been in that house for 15 Years and both Retired, her Mother who is 64 Years of ages has the early stages of Parkinson’s and her father who is 54 is retired as well.
They had a Catering company and like most fathers you will find him in the kitchen cooking up a Storm for his family….. with a Marlboro hanging from his mouth ,This includes all the famous Filipino dishes and I must say he cooks with more Unami type flavour, opposed to the sweet sickly taste you get at most places I have eaten here… this is very refreshing. Under the roof of Marge’s parents house there is 9 people, the family home is spacious and is built on a good sized section and has enough room to accommodate the troops under the roof.
further more there is a Zoo out the back of the property as well including 4 cats , 3 dogs and a handful of kittens.
we Arrived at her Parents place at around 5:30PM on Friday evening, I met her parents and her father had cooked us up a storm by request of Marge and I regrated saying yes as I was horribly bloated and feeling awful. Luckily the family doesn’t eat together so marge and I had part of the feast and I excused myself and headed to bed at around 7:30 PM and passed out like a rock and I don’t think I woke up until about 10:30 the next day.
